The N.C. State Board of Elections has established a special election to select the replacement of Walter Jones as the U.S. House Representative for District 3.

Absentee voting by mail begins

Wednesday, August 21, 2019

One-stop Early Voting begins
from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, August 31, 2019 

One-Stop Early Voting  8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Monday, September 2, 2019

Holiday – Election Office CLOSED

Tuesday, September 3,  2019 until 5:00 p.m.

Last day to request an absentee ballot by mail.

Thursday, September 5 – CLOSES at 12:00 p.m.

Extended One-Stop Early Voting hours 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Friday, September 6, 2019 until 6:00 p.m.  – CLOSED

Last day for One-Stop Early Voting

Tuesday, September 10, 2019
