Sign-up deadlines are established for each program; in some cases, no late registrations will be accepted unless there are openings on a team.

Registration forms are only available during the registration period.

  • 2019 Summer Tennis Clinics

    Tennis Clinics for children, teenagers, and adults of all abilities. Children must have completed
    kindergarten or higher in order to participate.

    Times

    Classes are scheduled based on age and experience.

    • 5:00 p.m.
      10-and-under Introductory – for children age 5 through 10 who are relatively new to tennis, playing at the “red ball” or “orange ball” level.
    • 6:00 p.m.
      11-and-over Introductory – for youth and adults, at least 11 years old, either beginners or players with limited experience.
    • 7:00 p.m.
      Intermediate and Advanced -for players with significant experience playing  Junior Team Tennis, high school varsity, or tournament tennis. This session will last until 8:30 p.m.
    Instructors

    Tony Willingham, boys tennis coach at First Flight High School, and USPTA certified tennis instructor, will lead the sessions.
    Tony will be assisted by current and former members of the CCHS tennis teams.

    Lessons

    Beginners will learn basic strokes, how to keep score, tennis etiquette, and other beginning skills..
    Intermediate and advanced players will receive instruction based on individual needs.

    Cost

    The cost of a “season pass” is based on the type of clinic.

    $50.00 for Introductory clinics.
    $65.00 for Intermediate and Advanced clinics.

    Half price for high school girls participating on the Currituck County High School girls tennis team (since they will be starting official practices on August 1, 2019.)

    A season pass entitles the participant to attend as many clinics as desired, at either location.

    Rainouts & Cancellations

    We have scheduled clinics as often as our instructor’s schedule permits. For this reason, there will be no make-ups for clinics that must be canceled due to inclement weather.

  • Challenger International Soccer Camp

    Challenger’s International Soccer Camp is combining the most popular elements of soccer, British Soccer and TetraBrazil and will intergrate them with a collection of the most effective soccer practices.

    If  you are looking for a week of pure soccer, learning new skills with an international staff be sure sign up this summer for the camp.

    The week long summer camps will provide young players with a wide variety of coaching styles, practices and influences that will help them develop a well-rounded skill set.

    • Individual Skills Evaluation
    • Free online camp t-shirt, soccer poster, soccer ball and certificate
    • Daily World Cup Tournament
    • International Staff

  • Tackle Football

    Registration is now open through Friday, August 2, 2019 for the Currituck Tackle Football. Anyone registering for these teams must have reached the age of 7 prior to September 1, 2019 and must not have reached the age of 13 prior to September 1, 2019.

    Anyone on a School Football team is ineligible for play.

    There will be a registration fee of $25.00. This money will be used to provide insurance and help recover a small portion of the cost to supply and maintain the needed equipment.

    All players must provide an eligible birth certificate to participate.

    Registrations will be accepted in the following manner:

  • Girls Fall Volleyball

    Registration is now open to all Currituck County youth who have reached the age of 8 prior to September 1, 2019 and who have not reached the age of 14 prior to September 1, 2019. A $20.00 registration fee per child will be charged with a maximum of $40.00 per family. This money will be used to provide insurance, awards and uniform.

    Registrations will be accepted in the following manner:

    Registration is now open to all Currituck County youth who have reached the age of 5 prior to September 1, 2019 and who have not reached the age of 13 prior to September 1, 2019.
