Preparing your garden for winter is equally as important as the preparation, planning, and planting that takes place in the spring. Now that Autumn has arrived and temperatures are starting to cool, it is the perfect time to get outside and prepare your garden beds for winter.
Join us at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and learn the importance of cleaning and preparing your beds, and how to protect your plants from the cold winter temperatures at our free presentation called “Winterizing Your Garden”.
The class will include tips and tricks to protect your containerized plants and a hands-on demonstration on how to properly wrap palm trees.
Prior registration for this event is required at winterize_your_garden.eventbrite.com
