Native plants are adapted to the local soil and climate conditions where they naturally occur. These critical plants provide seeds, nectar, and pollen that serve as food for native butterflies, insects, birds, and other animals.
Join us at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. and learn all of the benefits and advantages when native plants are incorporated into your landscape.
The presentation will cover native tree and shrub selection, native plant resources, landscaping tips, and includes native and invasive plant handouts.
