Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. for the Currituck Farm Festival, a celebration of our agriculture heritage! This event will be held at the Currituck County Center of NC Cooperative Extension.

To start our celebration, we’ll recognize our Century Farms and our Currituck farmers with an appreciation lunch at our food truck corral; stop by to support our local businesses and grab a bite to eat.

After you get some food, head over to our “agriculture through the years” display where we’ll highlight agricultural processes from then and now. These interactive displays include fun for the whole family, such as:

  • corn shelling,
  • hay rides,
  • antique tractors and tools,
  • soap making demos,
  • pumpkin bowling,
  • and more!

At the same time, we’ll award our Homegrown and Handmade contest winners, hold our 4-H Chicken Show and skillet throwing contest, and vote in our Brunswick stew cook-off.

With all of these contests, displays and games, there’s something to do and learn for everyone!

Let us know you’re coming by registering at currituckfarmfest21.eventbrite.com.
