Rainwater collection is almost as old as civilization itself. Rain barrels are a great way to conserve water, help the environment and create a ready source of water for your garden in the hot summer months. This hybrid (face to face and virtual) workshop will show youth ages 9-18:

  • how to make a mini rain barrel from inexpensive and recycled materials,
  • how to make and read a rain gauge
  • and how they can help the environment by collecting and reusing water.
