COVID-19 Testing

General Precautions
- Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds at a time.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are ill.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
- Do not reuse tissue after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces that are frequently touched.
Symptoms
The three main symptoms of the COVID-19 coronavirus are:
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath
- Read “What to Do if You Feel Sick” from the NC Department of Health and Human Services
Call For COVID-19 Vaccine Registration
Currituck County residents who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination can contact our CALL CENTER at 252-232-2115
to help arrange for a vaccination.
Any Currituck County resident age 65 and older, who has not already registered with the health department, may call 252-232-2115 to provide their name and contact information.
The call center will be open from
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Monday through Friday.
