  • Heating Oil
  • Used oil filters
  • Car and truck tires from personal vehicle. Tires must be taken off the rim and free of grease and mud
Not Accepted
  • Used Antifreeze contaminated with other materials
  • Oil contaminated with antifreeze or other materials
  • Gasoline
  • Construction waste
  • Tires larger than 20" inches


Items Not Accepted

  • Commercial or industrial wastes
  • Liquid waste
  • Hazardous waste
  • Plastic bags


No waste from outside of Currituck County will be accepted.

Large Quantities and all commercial waste must be to the Currituck Transfer Station at 216 Airport Road, Maple.
